Meet Our Coach

Mark Johnson

As a seasoned Aerospace Professional, Mark brings a wealth of experience and expertise to the team. Having served as the President of the BYU Rocketry Club ('18-'19) and Student Launch Competition Instructor, Mark has a proven record as an adept coach and mentor. He is dedicated to fostering the next generation of aerospace innovators.

Mark is the current Guinness World Record holder for the Highest Altitude Achieved by an Alka-Seltzer powered rocket: 863 feet with 100 Alka-Seltzer Tablets.

He currently works as an engineer at Raytheon.
